Gaurav Thombre’s love for animals saw him launch India’s first photography studio, in Pune, in 2010. He has shot over 200 pet portraits, from regal German Shepherds to Shih Tzu. Pet photography is all about patience, says Thombre, and also about anticipation, and about capturing their character in a photo.
